A portrait of the beautiful and very talented French woman Vanessa Paradis. I loved the photograph and just had to try capturing the same feeling I got from it.

Drawn on A4 paper with 3B, 8B, 9B pencils. Used charcoal for the background.

Its really beautiful.. really thought it was a photograph, and that's something I usually don't think.. very good. Nice shading, nice everything actually..

You're Danish, I'm Danish - but hey, might as well do this is English!

I really like this piece. The softness of it really appeals to me, and there's something about the pose. I see why you picked that exact picture to as a reference. The work on the light hair is really good - again, it's the softness and smothness, it's light somehow.

thats beautiful. When i draw portraits, I find that the shading / contrast are the most difficult thing.. u did an amazing job. WOW
