Artist's Comments

"I wouldn't dream of working on anything that didn't make my gut grumble or my heart want to explode." ([link])

I just felt I had to draw her; she is very beautiful, a talented actor and a person who seems to be true to herself... This drawing turned out to be more challenging than I had imagined and it didn't really ended up the way I wanted it to. But I've put a lot otime and effort into this drawing, so I thought I'd submit it now anyway and maybe make some changes later... But until then, tell me what you think.

- HB, 2B, 4B. 0.5 mechanical pencil for details.
- Eraser
- Paper stumps and paper tissues

WIP

Edit: August 6, 2005
I was suggested to remove the redish tones my scanner gave this drawing. So now it should look more like the pencil drawing it is :)

Very, very good. That's really impressive. The hand is absolutely great, and I love how you kept the hair as light as it is, still remaining to look that realistic. (I'm not very good at hair myself ;) )
:iconrocky14:
than it is the most real work I ever seen :D very good job, like to see more of it :XD:
:icondeceptive:
wow.. im really speachless about the hair.. and im just in awe of the detail in the eyes.. this kind of thing seems to be nearly impossible with pencil.. im thoroughly impressed.. awsome job :)
:iconmidnighteye:
Thank you very much for your kind words! I usually get really tired of drawing hair because it's hard to make it look real, but this time it was actually fun. I just drew some dark parts and some less dark and then used my eraser to "draw" with.

Then you should try looking at nimra's drawings - you'd be amazed of what he can do with a pencil :) But thank you very much, I'm glad you like my work!
